Coming Alongside, Becoming Christlike
Trinity Life Centre is a spiritual formation ministry to encourage Christians to grow in Christlikeness.
- Spiritual Formation: “Spiritual formation is the process whereby the Holy Spirit transforms us into Christlikeness to the glory of God our Father.” (Rev Dr Robert Solomon)
- Ministry of Encouragement: TLC seeks to encourage Christians to grow and live in the truth that it is their belovedness and life in Christ that nurture and inspire their service for Christ. It is a ministry that comes alongside Christians to strengthen ongoing growth in Christlikeness.
- Word of God & Spiritual Traditions: We draw our resources for spiritual formation and holistic Christian living from the Word of God and the richness of the spiritual traditions of the Christian Church down through the centuries.
- Listening Space & Quiet Time: Through spiritual retreats, teaching seminars and personal conversations, we provide the listening space and quiet time for Christians to critically take stock of their spirituality and service in the church and the market place.
Vision
TLC aims to draw Christians into an encounter with God to re-establish their identity in Christ to become joyful witnesses for Christ.
Mission
To call Christians to follow Christ afresh by coming alongside and together, growing towards Christlikeness. It is our desire that those we serve will ‘Retreat to Grow Deep and Advance to Live Like Christ’.
Values
- Life in the Trinity: We take the life and relationship of the triune God as the inspiration and model from which we live and understand our Christian life, formation, vocation and fruitfulness.
- The Word of God: We take the Word of God, His Story as revealed in Scriptures a s the setting to locate all our stories.
- The Value of Person: We value each person because each of us is made in the image of God. Each person is a person to be nurtured, not a functionary to be used.
- The Christian Life as Lived Experience: We strive towards an integrity of words and deeds, a lived experience , an ongoing process, each person a work in progress growing to become more Christlike.
